When studying Revelation, what did you find regarding the 1600 (or 1200) furlongs? I expect you will not take whole-heartedly to the exposition found in Vol. VII?The word "without the city" may mean: outside the Nominal Church, or organized religion. The horses (not horse) represent the doctrines, and the bridles the creeds. The blood represents the opposition truths, the truths of the Scriptures opposed to the false doctrines and creeds of the Nominal Church.
This opposition was within the Church in the begining. It began outside (without) as the result of the first Ecumenical Council, held at Arles in France, in the year 314 A.D. Naturally those who persisted in proclaiming the truth (and the central truth at that time was against the Trinitarian Doctrine, for the true followers of the Lord maintained that Jesus Christ is not equal to the Father, but that the Father is greater than Jesus, as our Lord himself proclaimed) were cast out of the Nominal Church. And they have been out ever since, right up to 1914 when the breaking up of the nations began, and the breaking up of the Nominal Church too. Things are not as they were, since 1914; and they shall never return to what they were, as all know, - that is, all who really know and understand. From 314 A.D. to 1914 A.D. is 1600 years. In this instance a furlong represents a year (in the corroborative Great Pyramid a year is represented by a measured length of an inch, and a cubit, etc.
The above is a suggestion, - and I would like you to think it over and let me know your opinion in due course.
The 1200 furlongs spoken of in Vol. VII does not appear to be correct; and you will have noted that there is no explanatory comment regarding the 1200 as opposed to the 1600 in the volume.) The Sinaitic, though the olderst MSS, is not necessarily always correct.
But I must close for this time; and I hope to hear from you again.
With much love in the Lord to you both,
from Sister Minna and myself,
Your loving brother
Morton Edgar
