RG Jolly Vs. JJ Hoefle: a study of events that shaped the LHMM

There were approximately 35 POINTS OF CRITICISM from Raymond G. Jolly made against Bro. John J. Hoefle in the March 1956 Present Truth explaining his removal.
 

My study shows a grave injustice was done.  This an honest attempt to ascertain the Truth regarding what was done with the L.H.M.M. after Bro. Johnson left the scene vs. what was authorized.

RCB: Brother Paul S.L. Johnson wrote the following promise  that the brethren would see his at that time forthcoming work on Revelation...

PSLJ:  220 Exodus ...it is proper for us to use all four Gospel-Age applications here. The bones are one's remains—that which one leaves behind him when he departs this life. They, therefore, represent what from another standpoint is represented by the ashes of a sacrificial animal. Thus, e.g., as the ashes of the red heifer represent what is left of the Ancient Worthies, their deeds, histories—so the bones of Joseph represent the histories of Jesus, the Church, the seven angels and the Epiphany Messenger. The book of Revelation contains these histories under symbols. Part of these have already been expounded to the Church. They will be completely set forth in our promised exposition of that book. These will not only be for the learning of the then living brethren, but will be for an everlasting memorial of them in the Ages to come.

note:  In every event the Lord's people may well comfort their hearts by the precious assurances of Ps. 46, which are given them just for the pre-Armageddon and Armageddon conditions.

RCB: Brother Hoefle says to R.G. Jolly the following: 

JJH:  Brother Jolly has been most unfaithful to the Lord's people in wilfully with­holding from them the unpublished literature that rightfully belongs to them, and which is in no way his personal property. He has most certainly betrayed his “Trust” with respect to the unpublished literature; and, when he says “The brethren are not prepared for the books – I could ask them a dozen questions on what they have that they could not answer”, he is displaying a brand of impudence well in keeping with the jugglery of That Evil Servant. On Pages 10, 11, 12 of Jan 1. 1950 P. T. Brother Johnson, the Star Member who wrote those books, said he thought the brethren were prepared for them and would make them available forthwith. That was five years ago; and, if the brethren were prepared for them then, they are most certainly more prepared for them now. In fact, they are probably too well prepared for them, because those writings undoubtedly contain information which would put a direct contradiction on much Brother Jolly has been doing – as, for instance, Brother Johnson being in harmony with Brother Russell on Rev. 19:1‑6 (See Berean Comments on this and Rev. 22:10). But again I repeat – “God will not long be mocked” by this unfaithful “Trustee”! In spite of the foregoing clear statement by Brother Johnson in 1950, you will undoubtedly recall how Brother Jolly brazen­ly declared at the Jacksonville Conven­tion that Brother Johnson said he would not complete the publication of his books until after Armageddon (but he failed to qualify that statement by saying Brother Johnson said that back in 1940!)

Very much more could be said about the “leprosy in the Camp”; but I shall conclude with the assurance to you both that I pray our Good Shepherd may re­ward you according to your good inten­tions, and grant you that Peace of Mind which passeth understandings.

RCB: Brother Jolly and all "Executive Trustees" following him have stonewalled on this issue to the point where most brethren believe that these writings don't exist.  However Bro. Johnson said that they do.  We the consecrated who are duty bound to Christ and The Truth do look forward to filing a Government FOIA request for the release of these precious documents as soon as they become available at a certain date.

At this point in our study many serious issues should be brought into sharp relief for all those interested ones.  We will contemplate discontinuing our series as the point, I think, has been successfully made.
