What about those who destroy the earth's habitat That's not right killing the fish in the oceans pollute in the water That's not right Tossing your cigarette butts hither and yon that's not right! Well that's not exactly very disruptive but what about those who really destroying earth's habitat like those huge financial interests that we spoke of earlier who know what they're doing and yet allow huge environmental disasters to take place all in the name of profit and greed why I oughta somebody hold me back I am America's last great American superhero by the way I have a cake and a flying canoe..."
This episode: "The Gates of Eternity" originally aired live on KGHP FM on August 23, 2000. This is the one that got him fired, containing the imfamous quote: "under the benevolent leadership of God Almighty" which the manager had written on a slip of paper as "evidence" and the rest is history. Bill Gates is mentioned but not accused of being one of the villains discussed in the show who will have to make amends for their deeds destroying the earth.
More from the show: "the millennium will come to an end for a thousand years mankind will have lived under the beneficial rule of Messiah and his government administering the affairs of this world from their exalted state the heavens above During this whole present period we have seen a lot of people but during the next period of time Evil will have been progressively eliminated men's hearts turning more and more to the living God loyalty and devotion to him and his rules the hallmark of human society men will be capable of living that loyal and devoted life without fear of falling away or introducing wrong or evil again for all will have been so thoroughly apprised of the evil results of wrongdoing and the good that comes from righteousness that no more will they be induced to turn away from the right path The lessons of the past life the grievous history of the world of depravity and death will remain with them as an everlasting incentive to righteousness rectitude restoration the human race will have attained the ideal that God plan for them from the beginning a community of beings physically and mentally perfect imbued with divine life coming to them through the one channel of life the Messiah and mankind will be in perpetual communication with God the Father and creator of all the long sad story of suffering and death which man brought upon himself of his own volition will be in the past never to return looking forward to that happy day the prophet was wrote and I quote they shall obtain joy and gladness and sorrow and sign shall flee away..."

"Burial of Sid Canoe" is a recording of "Kelly's Heroes, Puget Sound's longest running reggae radio broadcast" as it aired on September 20, 2000, one week after Sid Canoe was fired from his own show. Mix master Mike Kelly passionately delivered as a tribute and protest of the unjust firing. We are ever appreciative of Mike who says in the show: "What we have to wonder about is censorship oppression of one's thoughts and feelings people have called in already asking where Sid canoe he's around doing his thing spreading peace love and joy to everyone We don't have no burial because you can't bury something that's still living don't be small-minded people open your ears open your eyes open your mind and open your heart you believe that Satan is in the Sid canoe then you need to address it directly don't take these pot shots from the grassy knoll of life because what goes around comes around may not happen now may not happen when you think it's going to happen but when it happens it happens right on time that's hope that one day Sid will be following us up as for almost two years since been part of the Wednesday night reggae programming and we miss him and his opinions full of peace love and harmony and if you didn't feel that way then you always had the option the option to sensor sid by switching the channel or turning it off this doesn't express the opinions of the station this is the opinion of Kelly's heroes the people's choice in what's going down in Gig Harbor town we're gonna keep on moving on with the best of fruits rock reggae sound reggae is the music of the people that don't have a voice in the government that don't have a voice in the society that it keeps them oppressed and downtrodden but we're going to lift ourselves up lift our spirits up and let you know that we love all of you out there all the listeners of Kelly's heroes and Sid canoe as well as all the other KGHP volunteer radio hosts we're going to keep on moving on with the positive vibrations from Kingston town coming up Bob Marley what goes around comes around...Eleanor Rigby forms the bed of Mike Kelly's "Dia Del Muerte" tribute to Sid Canoe which he called "Friend of the Devil". Personal note: My two dogs were with me for this extended broadcast filling in 3 hours for Mike, and then my own show for 5 hours total.The other episode is "The Afterlife", not uploaded as of yet. Not many KGHP-FM broadcasters captured every minute of every one of their own live community radio broadcasts. Neither was Sid Canoe able to do this, but he gave it a good effort, so please forgive any missing portions of text as he reads from various scientific and Bible student texts...
For a year and a half, Zidkenu worked as an after hours volunteer at a high school community radio station as host of a family reggae show called "The New Adventures of Sid Canoe. He occasionally discussed Bible topics. Then a new manager came in with an atheist sidekick and began a campaign of harassement and defamation against Zid because they didn't like him talking about God on the air.
Zid was fired for refusing to run a commercial they ordered him to play "without comment" which seven times stated that Zidkenu was "the devil". Then they defamed him in the local press, saying he had traits of the devil. Zid had the support of co-workers and fans, but the school sided with the new manager, citing concerns about "the separation of Church and State".
For his part, Zidkenu had helped the station as an unpaid volunteer, providing professional expertise and technical assistance to the same pair who attacked him. Zidkenu has always tried to do what was right, even in the face of malicious persecution. The American Center for Law and Justice agreed to take the case, and KIRO radio invited him to be a guest - but then Al Gore and George Bush tied in Florida and all the lawyers and media flew south.
